Topbuilt engaged Whistle to develop a unique and standout brand identity for their new hand-tool range. With a long history in hammer manufacture, Topbuilt needed a unique, sophisticated and eye-catching design upon which to build their new range, with consideration of expansion to future tool sets.
Key areas of focus were:
Development of the theme early in the concept stage using a combination of sketch sketch and digital media.
Building of the master design artwork in vector form, suitable for export in required various formats (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .dwg as required). Includes full specification of standard (eg. Mold-Tech) or custom etches/textures/patterns, as well colours (eg. Pantone/RAL).
Master artwork adapted to various formats, prepared as surface models and 3D-printed in house to verify ergonomics. Photo-realistic renders prepared to convey final intent, and surface models provided to factories for development of tooling data.
